For his contributions to world cinema, DGA director member Guy Green was recently presented with a special Lifetime Achievement Award by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). Green first established himself as a cinematographer, becoming the first British cinematographer to receive an Oscar for his work on David Lean's Great Expectations. Among the films Green has directed are A Patch of Blue and The Mark.
