This is the
third in a Series of
Audio Book Reports
that I will be adding to the Websites.
My goal is to involve as many of Dame Judi and Michael Williams' younger
admirers
in this Section as possible. Hopefully, these Reports will expand
everyone's knowledge,
appreciation and enjoyment of these Audio Recordings.
Please feel free to submit your own contributions as well --
whether you're young -- or just young-at-heart ...
Susan L's 2nd and 3rd Grade Students
from her Special Education Class,
Heninger Elementary School, CA.
They were given the assignment to make a paper doll of their
favorite character
using their imaginations as well as construction paper, yarn, felt, pipe
cleaners and even toothpicks.
They also had to write why they liked the way Michael Williams read this
story .
Here are the results that they were generous enough to share with us.
The Scans really don't do these handmade dolls justice.
This is what Teacher Susan had to say ...
"The Second and Third Graders really had a wonderful time creating
their favorite characters
and it amazed me at the care they took to make each one perfect.
As they said, 'We need to do a good job because these are going on the
Internet.'"
Note from Chris: I will also be
sending all four of these original Audio Book Report Projects
(organized into a notebook) to Dame Judi. These are just way too
special not to give to her.

I've tried to be as democratic as possible.
The Paper Dolls are in alphabetical order
by Student's names. I'm
sure you will agree with me that all of these Students are equally -- yet
uniquely -- talented and articulate. I want to thank each of them
for
sharing their school work with us.

I really hope more people
take the time to give these students
their support and encouragement by adding their comments.
Positive re-enforcement is always nice to get -- and give.
Note: Susan is also
using our locations as part of her
Geography lessons for her students --
so be sure to add your State or Province as well as Country.
