Real Player Streaming
Audio / Video Clips

What does Streaming mean ?

Basically -- it means no more long waits to hear or see the file contents.

A Real Player window will pop open, there will be a few seconds of buffering and then the file will begin to play automatically instead of waiting for the entire file
to download to your PC.

How do I get Real Player on my PC ?

Click on the button below to take you to the Real Player Website.  Select the
Free Real Player One option at the top of the screen, to the right, just below the
"My Account" link.  That's all you'll need to play the files.  Then just follow the instructions.  How long it takes to download onto your PC will depend on your system requirements, etc.

Can I save these Real Player files onto my PC to listen to / watch again later ?

Yes and no ...
Every time you open one of the Real Player Streaming Files, the
LINK to play the file is automatically saved into your Windows Temporary Internet File Folder -- for a short period of time.  You can copy the link from that folder and paste it into any other folder on your PC.  This can get kind of tricky so pay attention.  If you're not comfortable with doing this -- then don't do it.  NOTE:  You still need to be connected to the Internet in order to play this file at a later time.  You are
not saving the actual audio file onto your PC -- you are only saving the link to my Website Server to access the file at a later time.

Here's how to Save it (for Windows Operating System only):

Right after you've listened to / viewed the Real Player File in it's entirety:
      a.  Minimize your browser window
(and any other windows you have open)..
      b.  Open up Windows Explorer
                 1.  Do a right click on the START button on the bottom left
                            portion of your screen.
                 2.  Click on EXPLORE
      c.  Scroll down the directory on the left hand portion of the screen and
click on the WINDOWS folders to open it.
      d.  Scroll down the directory on the right hand portion of the screen and
click on the TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES folder to open.
      e.  Scroll down to the bottom of the listings / page.
      f.   Look for a line that has the Real Player logo and a .ram file extension
The Internet Address will always begin with:
                        http://www.mwtribute.com/audio/  or  /video  ...

g.  Do a right click on the file name (on the left) and click on copy.
      h.  Minimize the Explorer window.
      i.   Open up the folder where you want to save this file.
      j.   Do a right click in the folder and click on paste.  The file is now saved to
your PC.  You just need to click on the icon to play it again.

           Note:
You do need to be connected to the Internet in order to
play this file at a later time.

      k.  Close out the Explorer window.

If anyone knows the procedure for MAC or Webtv, let me know and I'll add it.

Note:

If you experience delays or interruptions in the playing of the clip or notice more
distortion in the video quality than normal, it's most likely due to interference in your internet connection or heavy internet traffic or a slower connection speed.  You might want to try to disconnect and reconnect and see if that helps.
