World Premiere
December 8, 1997

Tomorrow
Never Dies, 1997
Tomorrow Never Dies received a World Charity Premiere on 8th December
1997 and audiences confirmed Brosnan's tenure as the superspy. This was
the first premiere not to be attended by Prince Charles for over a
decade, and like The Spy Who Loved Me before it, the event benefitted
the Royal Naval charity. The stars of the film were in attendance as
well as Sheryl Crow and other production personnel. The after premiere
party was in Bedford Square (for years home of Jonathan Cape, Ian
Fleming's original publisher), which was closed to traffic and dressed
to resemble a Far Eastern market place.
